Anderson County

Anderson County was formed on January 16, 1827 and became the 82nd county of Kentucky. Parts of Franklin, Washington, and Mercer Counties formed the county.

Anderson County is named after Richard Clough Anderson Jr., he comes from the prominent Anderson family from The 1800s.
